For sale is this one of a kind 1974 Harley Davidson XLH Sportster (Electric Start). This is the last year of the right hand shifted Sportster. I bought this motorcycle about 3 years ago, and have committed more than $10,000.00 in new parts and repairs to include the following: Rebuilt transmission Rebuilt upper and lower engine New S&S Super E carburetor New tires (front and back) New complete wiring harness New tank-mounted speedometer New rear shocks New custom paint job New saddlebags Newer windshield Newer pipes Sissy bar Replacement Fat Bob tanks 15 inch Ape Hangers with 4 inch extensions I have meticulously maintained this motorcycle, and have ensured that all of the fluids have been changed at regular intervals, and have used only synthetic fluids. There are less than 2000 miles on the bike since the rebuilds and additions have been completed. You cannot tell by the pictures that this is a Sportster, and will notice that you get attention wherever you go. I really hate to sell this bike, but I have bills to pay and no real means to pay them. My loss is your gain at $6000.00. Although I am pretty firm on this price, I am willing to negotiate. I understand that times are tough, and many don’t have a lot of money to spend, but you won’t be disappointed if you purchase this bike. It has been built to last a long time, and I wouldn’t be afraid to drive it across the country |
